But I can't get my head around that. It seems a bit cryptic, especially as the first gloss. I see L's definition is simply "A saying" Is that what our gloss is supposed to mean? Or is it simply "way of saying sth"? M has a definition 一種說法。如：「有此一說。」 I suppose "(way of) saying (sth)" is supposed to correspond to that? If so, why do we need the brackets? Why not simply "way of saying sth"? Are there any examples more enlightening than 有此一說。?
