"petty" seems to come from the ACE definition. I'm not sure whether "petty" is correct. PLC labels it as dialect. But anyway, synonyms "stingy" and miserly" should be adjacent to each other at the head of the definition, not separated by a word that means something different. By the way, LA has this additional sense: （舉止、穿著等）不自然大方。 例 「穿著太小氣，顯現不出你的身分來」。 Maybe we can add that some day if we can verify it. |
