Probably more relevant to have a verb gloss for 感恩. We already have 感恩節 = Thanksgiving, and "thanksgiving" (lowercase) has strong Christian connotations ~ "An act of giving thanks; an expression of gratitude, especially to God : a hymn of thanksgiving."

J ~ For that I am thankful.
我因此而感恩。

I won't help her again in a hurry, when she's been so ungrateful.
她这人不知感恩,我不愿再帮她忙了。

TP ~ 因而必須教育孩子懂得如何去愛和感恩。
As a result, children are becoming little "kings" and "princesses" who only know how to love themselves, but don't understand how to love others.
> Thus it is necessary to teach children how to love and feel gratitude.
Diff:
# 感恩圖報 感恩图报 [gan3 en1 tu2 bao4] /grateful and seeking to repay the kindness (idiom)/
# 感恩戴德 感恩戴德 [gan3 en1 dai4 de2] /deeply grateful/
# 感恩節 感恩节 [Gan3 en1 jie2] /Thanksgiving Day/
- 感恩 感恩 [gan3 en1] /thanksgiving/
+ 感恩 感恩 [gan3 en1] /to be grateful/
