Examples are very similar from dict to dict Maybe 摽勁兒 deserves an entry /to beat/ is from other dicts. 3. piao3 ? well, M has it, for "fall"; other dicts have biao4. Anyway, this is just one quote from Shijing: 摽有梅，其实七兮 and that old commenter said 摽 means "fall". That or something. Modern edition goes on to say, 有：助词，没有实义--the usual way out of a difficulty. Usefulness in a dict is just about nil. |
