1. 'to be known as' was wrongly fiddled into 'have a reputation'

江南號稱魚米之鄉 -- it has to be followed by some fancy nickname
2. 'de facto' sounds very far--I suppose it's a totally fanciful effort to gloss on 'known as'
3. it's not 'to claim *to be*'
