[fly] 一面伸开的旗子从旗杆算起的长度 well, it seems "fly" (a noun) is "b (1) : the length of an extended flag from its staff or support" Turning that into "to flutter in the wind" is certainly a giant step. it's certainly possible to construct 旗幅 : 旗子 的 幅度 however all the examples I see are a different construct: noun + CL = generic noun, as in 船隻: ship 如何在建筑物上安置大型旗幅 鲜红的旗幅中间 旗幅半白半赤 旗靶由旗幅、旗杆、配重轮、防磨轮、四股绳、弹簧挂钩、拖绳、旋转接头、保护套连接杆等组成。旗幅为长方形的旗面,用黑色锦纶筛网制成,旗幅长12.5米,宽1.578米... 军旗一般由旗幅、旗杆和旗顶组成。旗幅的规格、质料、颜色、...
