When a char is a general variant of another, we don't list all possible compounds with all possible spellings. CEdict is a database. The onus of finding 搀和 when you search for 摻和 should be on the program, or web site, that you are using. Few do it. You will notice though that Google search does perform this variant search (duh. They are professionals. They know that searching on traditional chars w/o taking variants into account is not an option) |
