Do either of the following even make sense?
- to re-enter the womb (of a departed spirit)
- (of a departed spirit) to re-enter the womb
[Which womb does one re-enter? One's mother's womb presumably, even though in most cases she would have died by that time.]

1) 一般雖認為人死後會重新投胎,
2) 只要來世能投胎富貴人家,[most people's purpose in doing good works and amassing blessings] is simply to come back in the next life as a rich person
3) 才能投胎轉世。 as only then can she be reincarnated.
4) 卻陰錯陽差地投胎成一隻豬,but things get confused and he accidentally re-emerges in the land of the living as a pig.
Diff:
- 投胎 投胎 [tou2 tai1] /to re-enter the womb (of departed spirit)/reincarnation/
+ 投胎 投胎 [tou2 tai1] /to be reincarnated/
