<< review queue entry 58196 - submitted by 'ycandau' >> current def sounds like you are really leaving them, and you are sad, "parting is such sweet sorrow" This is just about never the meaning. 依恋 means you *wouldn't* want to part with, hence you feel attachment. f.i. 1st ex on LA, 依戀故土, means you are attached to your homeland, not you are sorry to leave it. 没有一个民族像我们这么依恋故土的。 Of course Ch dicts insist (unduly) on the sense of 不捨 in this word; but I think E dicts are taking it a step further. |
