<< review queue entry 57930 >> changed pinyin fu5 to fu2 ------------------------------------- Editor: [shu1 fu5] seems to be the usual pronunciation. Listen to the audio here: http://chinesepod.com/tools/glossary/entry/%E8%88%92%E6%9C%8D That's not to say you wouldn't hear [shu1 fu2] in Taiwan, for example. But we're trying to give the usual pronunciation on the mainland. (We do give some indication of Taiwan pronunciation, but we generally don't mention it if it's a case like this where the only difference is that Tw pr. doesn't have a neutral tone.) |
