The following page says it's similar to 魂不附体、惊慌失措、and 丧魂落魄 and it's defined as 失去了魂魄。形容非常惊慌或心神不宁的样子。 That doesn't sound like "distraught at a loss" or "heartbroken". The "literal interpretation" part of the definition seems like a waste of space - pretty useless. |
