Maybe that is what was intended by "traveling allowance"? Is that a good word? other example: 这时她的盘缠已尽 from looking at a lot of examples, I get the feeling that this is the main meaning for 盤纏 (a word I see often in older literature), and the reverse holds for 路費 (a more modern word). f.i. 盘缠很贵 gives 2 hits! 盘缠太貴 12 hits 4. in some examples 路費 is used for "toll" 上富士山本來就要路費 |
