<< review queue entry 56974 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> verb child? 克里近日在法国阿尔卑斯山区骑自行车时发生摔伤事故,右腿股骨摔断,被送回美国波士顿的医院进行治疗。 John Kerry was 71 when that happened: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3104480/Secretary-Kerry-flown-Swiss-hospital-bike-crash.html CFDICT ~ se blesser en tombant (they seem to do just fine when they don't just translate us :-) M J LA Editor: 1. really, we should process this kind of things ASAP; present def is just hilarious. I know we have busy lives, but isn't there some way we could put these in front, instead of processing totally obscure entries? 2. to me, a regular construct with obvious sense, don't see why it should be in dicts; OTOH, as it's very simple it can be wrong either. 3. yes I've noticed that about CFdict. Presumably direct Chinese to French glosses are provided by people who have some understanding of Chinese and idiomatic French, whereas translations from CC-CEdict are provided by people who have no understanding of the Chinese but *think* they understand English (yes i can provide examples where the English glosses have been totally misunderstood) |
