Perhaps I'm mistaken, but it seems to me that it's not "an ethnic group", but rather a *geographic* grouping of at least eight ethnic groups (tribes). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwanese_Plains_Aborigines b) I believe that in "plain tribes", "plain" should be plural -- "plains tribes". Wp calls them "plains aborigines", for example, and in North America there are the Plains Indians, for example. I will probably add more points later. |
