<< review queue entry 52761 - submitted by 'ycandau' >> a construct to me, of course, but marginally useful. In fact, a few years ago, I already considered making an entry (and then lost my to-do list to the bit bucket), it comes back to me now. I was reading this comment on a blog, and thought it was mighty funny (about Chinese skilled workers who emigrate): "不爱国的趁早滚,永远别回来!!!!,走的时候带上我" Those who do not love their country should fuck off as soon as possible, and never come back!!! And take me with you when you go. ◊ take along, bring with one; take onto (a plane, etc.) ◊ concern ◊ touch ◊ add ◊ shut, close (a door, e.g., while one is going through the doorway) "concern, touch, add" is a bit obscure, I think it all refers to the same idea, and is not really different from "bring with one" (BTW, I find that more and more I agree with K, both on defs and words choice) M only has: M@帶上門 把門關上。如:「出去時,順便幫我帶上門。」 either make a sub for 帶上門 (pretty idiomatic after all) or work this sense in the present def; I think I prefer the 1st Editor: per discussion. |
