<< review queue entry 57104 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> I've found various pages such as the following that say that China's name in the Ming dynasty was not 明, but 大明. http://goo.gl/qd3eQZ Similarly, in the Qing dynasty it was 大清, and in the Yuan dynasty it was 大元, or more fully, 大元大蒙古國. However, Han seems to be OK: LA ~ 「西元前202年,劉邦定國號為漢」。 As for Tang, the webpage quoted above says 其後,爵位傳至李淵,隋恭帝時李淵進封唐王。李淵得國后便以“唐”為國號。 |
