1. I understand "embody" must be in dicts, but to me it sounds a totally different thing.
2. I would translate as "recéler", for which /contain/hold/ are poor equivalents
(I dare not try things like "brim with")

3. 2nd sense:
LA: 含蓄而不顯露。例 「這首詩婉轉含蘊」。
