Is there justification for the "lit." part of the definition?
LA, K, A, and M don't seem to mention it.
Is it even true?
If it is, does it help at all?
And does it make sense? (i.e. is "branch segment" a recognized botanical term for a place where "new branches should develop"?)

Editor: no comment.
Diff:
- 枝節 枝节 [zhi1 jie2] /lit. branch segment (where new branches should develop)/branches and knots/fig. side issue/minor peripheral problem/
+ 枝節 枝节 [zhi1 jie2] /branches and knots/fig. side issue/minor peripheral problem/
