<< review queue entry 56042 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> 1) Our def seems to be largely based on NA, which says "1. service-type, service pattern; 2. system, format" NA's examples for its sense #1 make it clear that it's adjectival (as indeed the hyphen in "service-type" implies): - prescribed (uniform) - regulation (clothing) - authorized/standard (equipment) So it makes no sense to turn "service-type" into a noun, "type of service" as we seem to have done. 2) I really don't know what NA means by "service-type" or "service pattern" except from their usage examples. They don't seem very helpful glosses to me. 3) The current definition makes 制式 sound like it's a noun, or mainly a noun. In fact, it's almost always used as an adjective or attributive (see TP examples below). TP 我們是非常制式的、標準化的產品。 We have an extremely uniform and standardized product.
