<< review queue entry 55417 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> By my reading of the definitions, a 验电器 is for detecting the presence of an electrical charge on a body, not for detecting an electrical *current* (flow of electrons). A device to detect and measure current would be 電流表. Compare GI @ electroscope and @ 验电器 https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%AA%8C%E7%94%B5%E5%99%A8 M K Wp says "rheoscope" is "no longer used to describe electrical instruments." Editor: more correctly, an instrument to detect current would not be an ammeter but a galvanometer, 檢流計 |
