I'm pretty much expecting this to get rejected, but the "文化" is spreading - figured it couldn't hurt to try and 'define' it.

here the quotes are working like the english (read: xxx)
something like: slowing warming up (read: sweltering) ....

mainstream usage is more like the examples in the articles above:

你(shi)好(ji)帅(hen)啊(chou)!这段话的字面意思是“你好帅”,但按照括号文化来解读就成了“实际很丑”。
