I don't think there is any such species as Turtur orientalis. That expression seems to be a mistaken combination of the scientific names of two different species:
Streptopelia turtur; European turtle dove
and
Streptopelia orientalis; oriental turtle dove

NC A K M LA

Editor: binomial nomenclature is apt to being revisited. Turtur Orientalis WAS a species.
But there is no point equating single chars with Latin names
Diff:
- 鳩 鸠 [jiu1] /turtle-dove/Turtur orientalis/penis (slang, esp. Cantonese)/
+ 鳩 鸠 [jiu1] /turtledove/(literary) to gather/
