(it's called Guinness World Records now)
The name of the brewery comes from the name of the founder, and the name of the book comes from the brewery.

"Guinness World Records, known from its inception in 1955 through 1998 as The Guinness Book of Records and in previous U.S. editions as The Guinness Book of World Records"

"Arthur Guinness started brewing ales from 1759 at the St. James's Gate Brewery, Dublin."

In Taiwan, the book is called 金氏世界紀錄, and we have 金氏 = simply "Guinness (name)", which seems just fine.
Diff:
[Ji2 ni2 si1] /Guinness (name)/Guinness (Irish black beer)/Guinness book of records/
[Ji2 ni2 si1] /Guinness (name)/
# editor adding:
[Jin1 shi4] /Guinness (name)/
[Jin1 shi4] /Guinness (name) (Tw)/
