As to the polygamy controversy in the LDS Church, Watterson says that the church discontinued pluralistic marriage, a system which finds its roots in the Old Testament, more than 100 years ago. The few that currently practice it have nothing to do with the LDS Church. Perhaps this has not been completely understood outside of America. |
