Editor: Why surprising? I didn't find it in any of the 6 or so dictionaries I checked, some of them much bigger than us. It doesn't really seem necessary to have it in a dictionary – its meaning is pretty obvious. It's not just for motorsports and it's not only roads. It's a 道 (route or course) for any sort of 賽 (competition) conducted on a course (i.e. a race). E.g. - 金正恩视察朝鲜滑雪场 乘缆车到赛道顶端. - 土狼现身越野跑赛道 选手怕被咬拼命跑成冠军 |
