In the Chinese business community 副总裁 is most used to represent the English equivalent of a vice president. I've cross referenced this with English and Chinese press releases from Baidu, Sina and Tencent. The English titles of people such as Baidu's 王湛 are listed at VP. While their Chinese title is 副总裁。
Diff:
- 副總裁 副总裁 [fu4 zong3 cai2] /vice-chairman/deputy director (of a company etc)/
+ 副總裁 副总裁 [fu4 zong3 cai2] /vice-chairman (of an organization)/vice president (of a company)/deputy governor (of a bank)/
