"errata" means "mistakes in printing or writing, especially those noted on a list that is included with a printed book" [Encarta]

I don't think that, as a noun, 訂正 means *any* sort of mistake, but rather the *correction* of mistakes.

K ~ [ v ] ◊ correct, revise (text)
A ~ v.o. make corrections
O ~ make corrections; correct; revise; emend; correction; reduction:
订正印刷上的错误 correct errors of printing
订正磁极 corrected geomagnetic pole;
订正高度 corrected altitude;
订正气压 reduced pressure;
订正纸 correction paper (打字用)
Diff:
- 訂正 订正 [ding4 zheng4] /to make corrections/errata (to a publication)/
+ 訂正 订正 [ding4 zheng4] /to make a correction/
