<< review queue entry 50402 - submitted by 'monigeria' >> (forgot the deal about commas in words...sorry if I jacked-up) a fairly common saying with quite a couple variants: 前不巴村, 后不着店 前不着村, 后不着店 this seems to be the most common (at least per on-line usage) a c-e and moe list it as: 前不巴村，后不巴店 a c-e says with no villiage ahead and no inn behind-be stranded in an uninhabited area moe says: 耽搁在半途, 无处歇息 and says 或作： 前不巴村, 后不着店 前不着村, 后不着店 moe also has a separate entry for "前不巴村, 后不着店" lma: 前不着村, 后不着店 形容走到郊野, 前面不靠近村庄, 后面不挨近客店, 无处歇宿。 比喻前进不得, 后退不能, 左右为难。 也说：前不巴村，后不巴店 dunno if y'alls wanna add variants or not... ============================ Editor: the 着 variant seems far more common.
