<< review queue entry 48255 >> Po1 according to 新时代汉英大词典 Editor: it seems like it could also be pronounced as Po sometimes (e.g. GT says Po when you look up 泊松), but I tried two different py IMEs and they readily recognize Bosong, but not Posong. Also, typing "bosong" into the Baidu search field without hitting "search" immediately suggests 泊松 entries, but typing "posong" doesn't. I asked two random Chinese friends and they both said "Bo" as well. I'm not even sure I should include "also pr. Po song", but it may be alright since 新时代汉英大词典 & GT both support it. |
