Editor: I think most people are familiar with either "laundromat" or "launderette" and use those terms rather than "self-service laundry." They are known in the United Kingdom as launderettes or laundrettes, and in the United States, Canada, and Australia as laundromats." CEDICT's guidelines say to use US spelling and terminology. |
