<< review queue entry 41226 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> "in Christianity"? --- I don't think 教子 is a Christian concept, is it? I think "teach" is a misinterpretation (too literal). ... 加強施虐者的親子溝通技巧,讓家長明瞭自己管 教子女的權限。 ... help them develop better ways of communicating with their children, and make them understand what they can and can't do in disciplining their children. 相夫教子 = support one's husband and *raise children" ====================== Editor: Several flaws in my submission, as Yves pointed out, including the fact that my example sentence doesn't even contain the word 教子 ... Boy, is my face red! (as they say). Nevertheless, it seems that "in Christianity" *is* redundant. I'm adopting Yves' suggestion for a change in the first part of the definition. On the basis of the discussion, I think it's probably better. |
