<< review queue entry 45940 - submitted by 'ycandau' >> I was surprised by this def: "effective (in some matter)" Then I went and checked, and found on Z: 当事 dāngshì (1) [efficacious]∶掌权 坏人当事,好人倒霉 which is one example of discrepancy between C def and example, and E def, not uncommon in that source. I can't think of an explanation for that "efficacious" I suppose that "efficacious", copied from dict to dict, is also the reason for our "effective". |
