[richwarm]: 垃圾 is "trash; refuse; garbage", whereas "junk" refers to useless old stuff that is usually just lying around or stored and NOT discarded or dumped like garbage. I think 垃圾食品 could be mistaken for foods that have been thrown away, dumped (like food which has passed its "use by" date). |
