"cross one's legs" could mean sit in a chair with one foot on the floor and the other leg over the first.
That's not 盘腿 -- see GI.

I'd say 單盤腿或雙盤腿 means "half-lotus or full lotus posture"

From GI, 跏趺 is more strictly "sit in lotus position" and not just "sit cross-legged"
(whereas 盘腿 can be used to mean just "sit cross-legged")
Diff:
- 盤腿 盘腿 [pan2 tui3] /to cross one's legs/
+ 盤腿 盘腿 [pan2 tui3] /to sit cross-legged/to sit in the lotus position/
+ 跏趺 跏趺 [jia1 fu1] /to sit in the lotus position/
