<< review queue entry 42632 - submitted by 'xiaoxiong' >> format also, not sure if it's really 'old', it's just uses the simplified radical. this character is used in Japan Editor: 1) format Thanks. 2) not sure if it's really 'old', it's just uses the simplified radical Well, it seems to be pretty rare. It's not mentioned in M, Far East, or Dr.eye, and it doesn't appear in any "Taiwan Panorama" articles. Are you suggesting that it's no more rare now (in the Chinese context) than it ever was? Does anyone really want to research that? Yves' comment on processing this a few weeks ago was "oh well, it's in 六書正擶, but only this one, so must be rather rare. Hunting for rare variants is not very interesting, it's not the purpose of this dict." 3) this character is used in Japan Yes, it is. |
