MoE says: 「丰」與「豐」音同義近，雖或可通，但在文獻上用法各見特異之處。說文解字：「丰，艸盛丰丰也。」取草木壯盛樣子為義；又「豐，豆之豐滿也。」取祭品豐盛為義。因此，「丰」、「豐」雖都具多、富的意思，本義卻未盡相同。今日用法上，「丰」多作「風」的假借字，作神態解，如：「丰神」、「丰姿」、「丰采」、「丰儀」等。「豐」則多作積多盛大的意思，如：「豐功」、「豐年」、「豐富」等。另武當名人「張三丰」，則不用「豐」字。亦有因其音同義近，直借「丰」為「豐」的異體字。 make a search there for 丰 to see all the words that have it instead of 豐. most of those words are not in CC-CEDICT, but two are: 丰度 and 丰韻 (we have it as 豐韻/丰韵). However, it seems like 豐度 and 丰度 are two different words. 豐度 means 'abundance', while 丰度 is just a different way to write 风度, similar to how 丰采=风采 (we already have it as a redirect). and then 丰韻 is also the same as 風韻. MoE says: 神態、風韻。通「風」。如：「丰姿」、「丰采」、「丰儀」。since we also have 風姿, then we might as well include 丰姿 as a redirect |
