The problem is that CEDICT is a C-E dictionary, not an E-C dictionary -- we define Chinese words, not English ones. We already have a definition of 创新 which implies that 创新的 can mean "innovative" ~ 創新 创新 [chuang4 xin1] /innovation/to bring forth new ideas/to blaze new trails/ The other problem is that "revolutionary" is ambiguous. It has at least four distinct senses: 1. (adj) of a political revolution 2. (adj) stirring rebellion 3. (adj) new and different 4. (noun) rebel |
