<< review queue entry 41826 - submitted by 'xiaoxiong' >> [jie4 lan2] seems to be Taiwan specific. both MoE and Dr.eye have it, but it doesn't appear anywhere else. one of the editors should check Far East, if they have a copy Editor: Yes, it's [jie4] in FE, and that reinforces the suggestion that [jie4] is correct in Taiwan, but it doesn't necessarily show that [jie4] is restricted to Taiwan. www.nciku.com says 芥蓝 [jièlán], although that source is not necessarily reliable. In any case, [jie4] is the only reading for 芥 in all three Tw dicts (M, FE, Dr.eye), and in CEDICT, this should be reflected at the single-hanzi entry level, rather than in compounds. |
