<< review queue entry 36786 >> In Taiwan this character is pronounced as dong4. It is derived from Japanese and mainly used in restaurants in the word 丼飯 = bowl of rice. Editor: Is it "derived from Japanese" or is it simply a word of Japanese, mixed in with the Chinese? Other dictionaries don't recognize 丼[dong4] as part of the Chinese language, and others also balk at "dong4" ~ 照理說,大碗蓋飯的「丼」應該是要唸成「 ㄐㄧㄥˇ 」才是,不能因為店員這樣說「ㄉㄨㄥˋ」,然後就以此自創發音,並且人云亦云,但其實這樣是不太可取的! |
