<< review queue entry 39842 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> 1) "attention-seeking" needs a hyphen 2) Is "seeking to please" useful or correct? Or is it perhaps a gratuitous attempt at a literal translation of the characters which misses the mark? Should it be at the head of the definition? 3) Are "favored" and "attention-seeking" good definitions in this entry, or a bit off the mark? Any examples for those senses? Editor: mostly a *sigh* "他真的很乖,很会讨人喜欢" "Lovely refers to things that attract people's affection and admiration" |
