In retrospect, I'd say you taking a little time to research the word. I would have processed it sooner, but I was not immediately sure how to check on the verb usage. I already knew it meant "adorable", as in 我们现在在网上，或者日常生活中，也经常说，这个小孩好萌啊。 I've now found examples that seem to confirm the verb sense, such as 1) 问题：跪求：cv可乐冰的照片。很萌他，很可爱，绝不外传，谢谢了。 2) 虽然不是很萌他跟小雪的这一对，但是剧中那12个小孩子每个都超级可爱啊。 Also, in the Wp reference you quoted -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moe_%28slang%29 I realise now that there was a link to the corresponding Chinese article that says ACG喜好者經常把這個詞用做動詞、形容詞等各種的詞性，例：「蘿莉（或正太、御姊……等）很萌」（形容 詞）、「被XXX（XXX代入你喜歡的動漫人物）萌到」（動詞）……等。還有「賣萌」甚至是「不賣自萌」。 [ACG = Anime, Comics/Manga and Games] The only thing I've changed in the wording is ".../adorable/loanword from..." --> ".../adorable (loanword from..." As for the suggestion of leaving the submission on the queue forever -- no can do! ;-) |
