Read the Chinese defs in M and N. They make it clear that this is sth painful on
the foot. A callus is not necessarily painful or on the foot. "helosis" is not much
help -- it is not defined in Webster, for example.

"clavus" is correct but it's a little-known word, I think, whose definition in
Webster is ... corn! And "corn", of course is a little ambiguous.
