Also, MoE gives only 鑑別; but @鑒 it says 作為明察﹑警戒義時，多用「鑒」，如：「明鑒」﹑「垂鑒」﹑「鑒戒」 and that self-contradiction shows how futile it is to say "this or that is the correct spelling", especially when the only argument is "it's so on MoE". |
