I noticed that mamahuhu was the only definition listed for "so-so", when other
words are also commonly used.

Editor: This is a Chinese-English dictionary: we define *Chinese* terms rather than English terms.
So we don't really have *any* definitions for "so-so".
If you are into definitions of "so-so", you might like to consider some of these :-)

Having said that, I think that we can have "so-so" in our definition of 一般.
"Ordinary" sort of covers that sense (unremarkable; neither good nor bad),
but "ordinary" can also mean "usual; commonly seen".

However, I think it should be placed among the other adjectives like "ordinary" and "general",
rather than after the adverbs.
