<< review queue entry 37852 - submitted by 'rbk0n9' >> I noticed that mamahuhu was the only definition listed for "so-so", when other words are also commonly used. Editor: This is a Chinese-English dictionary: we define *Chinese* terms rather than English terms. So we don't really have *any* definitions for "so-so". If you are into definitions of "so-so", you might like to consider some of these :-) 还行 平平 还可以 不怎么样 就那么回事呗 Having said that, I think that we can have "so-so" in our definition of 一般. "Ordinary" sort of covers that sense (unremarkable; neither good nor bad), but "ordinary" can also mean "usual; commonly seen". However, I think it should be placed among the other adjectives like "ordinary" and "general", rather than after the adverbs. |
