But in any case, 歛財 is just a variant of a word we already have in the dictionary. And here is another editor's comment ~ "by dishonest means" is a flight of fancy of CE dicts. Of course the word is often used pejoratively. 以正当或非正当手段获取财富，一般指非正当方式，作贬义词使用居多 just heard the word btw. Dishonesty was not an option; greed, maybe. |
