<< review queue entry 37147 - submitted by 'ycandau' >> Contrary to rare extinct surnames, I think that having names of historical figures is an asset; saving the hassle of going to Ch Wp. I happen to be the happy owner of a translation of 武經七書, bought it on the street, afraid the poor translator didn't make much money from his work. Highly commendable, his name is Ralph Sawyer, Westview Press. I don't care for the content, but his work really goes beyond the superficial layer. Not falling into the semi-mystical interpretations that are so easy, but acknowledging that archaic texts are just as technical as modern treatises. |
