Comment: << review queue entry 37374 >>
This entry as it stands may be more confusing to North Americans, where
"almanac" by itself normally refers to a farmer's almanac. In Chinese, 年鑑 is most
commonly used to describe annual reports, i.e., for finance or education, where the
use of "almanac" would be inappropriate.

Editor: despite what you say, a lot of such publications in North America are called 'almanacs'
Diff:
# - 年鑑 年鉴 [nian2 jian4] /almanac/
# + 年鑑 年鉴 [nian2 jian4] /almanac/annual report/
# Editor: we have in fact two entries
- 年鑑 年鉴 [nian2 jian4] /almanac/
- 年鑒 年鉴 [nian2 jian4] /almanac/yearbook/
+ 年鑑 年鉴 [nian2 jian4] /annual report/yearbook/almanac/
