This is even how most companies translate it, ie China airlines. Just google the word and see examples such as: "中華航空公司China Airlines" Editor: 大韓航空 = Korean Air, but that doesn't mean that 航空 means "air". Your own example "中華航空公司China Airlines" shows that "airline" is 航空公司 (literally, "aviation company"), not 航空. |
