I see technical web sites graciously welcoming 菜鸟, and Wikipedia defines 菜鸟: 菜鸟泛指对某个领域缺乏基本知识的人。这是非正式的称呼，比较正式的叫法是“新手”、“初学者”，英文对应词可以是“rookie”, "newbie", 或, "noob"。 |
